Where did it all begin?
L'Escala 2003 -
who would have known that the photo's below would become the
original artwork for the website "drinkybeer".

Their good friends Diane and David thought it a giggle to
present to Stephanie and Michael, as a Christmas present, a website
domain with a name that they thought summed them up
beautifully.
"We couldn't think of a
more apt word and image that so well represented them" Diane
said. Added David, "I
think the fact this wasn't the first beer of the day helped in
capturing the moment so perfectly. But there was a
problem.
Taylor & Webb were still operating in the 19th
Century. What that
meant was due to them not having Broadband or a computer with
sufficient memory, the website remained as first published. "What you're seeing is
history" explained Mikey.
"It's a shame to change or add to such a pure and simple
design". But, however slowly the
wheels of progress turn, slowly but surely they DO turn. Finally, fed up with an
internet dial-up speed of barely 0.04mbs, in the Summer of 2010 an
executive decision was taken by Mikey to not only sign up to
Broadband (offering a much improved speed of up to 0.5mbs) but also
upgrade to a more modern computer.
England 2010 - finally,
at long last following much needed tuition from David, Mikey sat
down and started work on the website design. What does this
mean? Well, in theory
this will result in "drinkybeer"
becoming a
full and frank history of Stephanie and Michael's beer quest. Watch this
space...
